- Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) is not displayed in the Services list in Control Panel.
- Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) is displayed in the Services list, but you cannot start this service.
- anda menerima pesan galat “Due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot display Windows Firewall settings.” ketika anda mencoba mengakses setting windows firewall
Masalah ini disebabkan file SharedAccess.reg hilang atau rusak. sebuah File yang mewakili SharedAccess.reg layanan Windows Firewall.
Penyelesaian:
Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, gunakan salah satu metode berikut
Metode 1:
Cari “Setup API InstallHinfSection” fungsi untuk menginstal Windows Firewall Untuk menginstal windows firewall ikuti langkah-langkah ini
- klik start, klik run, ketik cmd, kemudian klik ok
- pada prompt perintah, ketik baris berikut Rundll32 setupapi,InstallHinfSection Ndi-Steelhead 132 %windir%inf etrass.inf kemudian tekan ENTER
- Restart Windows,
- klik start, klik run, ketik cmd, kemudian klik ok
- pada prompt perintah, ketik baris berikut Netsh firewall reset kemudian tekan ENTER.
- klik start, klik run, ketik firewall.cpl dan kemudian tekan ENTER. Dalam kotak dialog Windows Firewall, klik On (disarankan), dan kemudian klik OK.
Metode 2
Karena untuk metode ke 2 ini sedikit bermain dengan regsitry, jadi saya sarankan anda untuk memabaca lebih detail pada situs microsoft itu sendiri klik disini untuk mulai membaca.

- download file sharedaccess.reg
- setelah di download kemudian extract dulu,, double klik file sharedaccess.reg agar di merge dengan registry di windows
- kemudian restart komputer anda.
- setelah restart, pada run, ketik cmd
- muncul command console, ketik netsh firewall reset
- kemudian coba buka firewall,,
jika masih belum bisa - pada run, jalankan command ini,
- rundll32 setupapi,InstallHinfSection Ndi-Steelhead 132 %windir%inf etrass.inf
- restart komputer
- setelah restart, pada run ketik cmd /k netsh firewall reset
- coba buka kembali firewall anda,,
belum bisa lagi
nah..cara ini biasanya paling berhasil - pada run ketik, netsh winsock reset
- kemudian restart
- cek windows firewall anda.

Wow, its been 3 months since my last post. I guess Im not learning enough! Well, thats not true. Its been a busy time of moving to a new home, moving also to a new office, releasing a new software product, and crazy holidays. Its fun!
Todays biggie is a result of changing my Boot Camp installation to Windows 7 x64. After the complete redo of my Windows partition I had the strangest problem of Office 2007 crashing 100% of the time when I tried to edit the chart or axis title of a chart in Excel. I think it also happened when editing text blocks in Paint. Well after LOTS of searching, service pack installs, and many restarts I found this: Microsoft Technet
In summary this is all you need to do, and from what I read it affects Office 2007 and Office 2010 equally, for me it was only the x64 version, but you never know.
- Open Control Panel
- In view mode “View by Category”, find the section “Clock, Language and Region”
- Click “Change Keyboards or other input methods”
- Press the button “Change Keyboards”
- Press the button “Add”
- Scroll down to “English (United States)” and expand.
- Check box “US”
- Press OK.

A new alpha version of Skype for Linux was released today.
Skype for Linux Alpha uses a responsive UI and supports sharing files, photos, and videos, and ships with a new range of emoticons.
The new version is not fully functional yet and the developers want Linux users to test the app and provide feedback:
"As we develop this new version of Skype for Linux, we need you to test, provide feedback and help us prioritize features. You will notice that with the Alpha version of Skype for Linux, which uses our next generation calling architecture, you will be able to call your friends and family on the latest versions of Skype on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android, but you won’t be able to make or receive calls to and from the previous versions of Skype for Linux (4.3.0.37)".
The announcement also mentions that you can now make one-to-one and group voice calls from a Chromebook or Chrome on Linux, using web.skype.com, this also being in alpha.
Video and landline calls are also on their way to Chrome for Linux and Chromebooks. Since Skype for Linux Alpha is basically web.skype.com with desktop integration (notifications and a tray icon / appindicator), these features arent yet supported by the new application either.
I should also mention that Skype for Linux Alpha can be installed in parallel with the old Skype version, so theres no need to remove the stable Skype to install it.
